When creating an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Job Listings and Applications
Farmers Overseas serves as a platform connecting agricultural workers with farm opportunities. We do not guarantee employment or verify all job listings. Users are responsible for verifying the legitimacy of job opportunities and employers.
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our service:
- For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
- To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
- To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
- To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate

In no event shall Farmers Overseas, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, consequential, or special damages.
8. Subscriptions, Fees, and Payments
Some features of the platform require a paid subscription (membership). Subscription availability, pricing, and the term of access will be displayed at the time you purchase. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us and our payment processor(s) to charge the applicable fees.
- Pricing may differ by plan and account type (e.g., single or couple) as shown at checkout.
- Unless required by law, all fees are non-refundable once a subscription term has started, including for partially used periods.
- If a payment fails or is reversed (including through chargebacks), we may suspend or revoke access to subscription features.
- Taxes may apply depending on your location and will be presented where required.
- We may change subscription features and prices prospectively; changes will not affect a current, already-paid term unless required by law or to prevent fraud/abuse.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the platform at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us or other users, engaged in fraud or abuse, or if required by law. You may stop using the service at any time. Termination does not eliminate your responsibility for amounts due or other obligations that, by their nature, should survive termination.
10. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Farmers Overseas and its directors, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the service, your content, your interactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be brought in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, unless a different process is required by applicable law.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
